Sunday 28th June 2026 – Death in Shrewsbury walk.  A Two Nigels walk. Meet at 2.30pm at St Mary’s church where Nigel Baker and Nigel Hinton will lead the group. The tour will take in the four ancient minster/parish churches, three friaries, at least two non-parochial chapels with their cemeteries, the Non-Conformists with burial grounds and the ‘illicits’ – corpses found around town down the years! We expect the walk to take around 90 minutes and for those interested we will visit the King’s Head (Mardol) for a drink and a look at the 14th century wall painting afterwards.
