Saturday 8th March – Sun and Fire: Celebrating Prehistoric Shropshire
A day school looking at the prehistory of Shropshire, at The Cut Visitor Centre, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury and Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery.
9:30am – 1.00pm at The Cut Conference Centre. The morning session will comprise an Introduction and 4 talks with a midway break for refreshments and will conclude with a half hour for discussion (see Agenda, below). 9.30am at The Cut Visitor Centre, Shropshire Wildlife Trust, 193 Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, SY2 6AH
1.00pm – 2.30pm Lunch (not provided, please make your own arrangements)
2.30pm – 6.00pm at the Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery. The afternoon will be spent at Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery exploring the galleries and hearing about the planned British Museum Partnership Gallery, closing with a wine reception. 2.30pm at Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery, The Square, Shrewsbury SY1 1LH
