A walk led by David Pannett. At first sight, the irregular village alongside the old Holyhead Road west of Shrewsbury seems rather dull. However, closer inspection with the aid of maps and documents, will reveal its value for the interpretation of many typical features of the Shropshire landscape. Meet: 2.15pm at the Village Hall Car Park, Bicton. Donations to Bicton church, who are providing afternoon tea.
